Christmas-Scots-Pine-Tree.........
In Sweden we are very strickt on what type of tree we use for Cristmas. Most commonly it is the Norway Spruce but also the European silver fir and a few other types. anyway, there are also christmas trees in plastic which has it's advantages such as for allergic people, you don't need to water it or throw it away since you just pack in into a box of some kind and stuff it back on the attic and will therefore save money the comming years since you "recycle" it every year. And maybe the best part it doesn't shed it's needles! *YEAH* the drawback could be that it soesn''t look very real though.....
however my mother is allergic to most types of Christmas trees, so I grew up with plastic tress, which makes them the most natural choice to me. but one year we brought in a Scots Pine tree and decorated it. it was very beautiful even if it looked almost as if you had run over the tree with the car....... since Scots Pine trees doesn't look like the usual Christmas trees at all.
In Sweden Scots Pine trees used as Christmas trees are very rare, I don't think you could buy them at all, you'd have to cut one down yourself!
but they smell so refreshing!
