new job, snowstorm and something I want....
long time no see, or maybe no write? anyway got myself a job (surprised myself) don't really like it but it will have to do! funny that the only company that I do not want to be hired by in the WHOLE world, was actually the only company that hired me! ironic isn't it? I still love my old job as a laboratory assistant. but they have no room for me, it seems though that if they could they would hire me beacuse eversince I worked there, they have asked me to come back twice, once for the summer and once just two weeks ago on short notice, for two weeks. apparently my old co-worker had been playing with the snowboard and hurt her hand...badly...but good for me! I got the chance to work with what I love and earn some money! thank you old job.........=)
two weeks ago monday, I started this new job, in another town. almost an hour car ride one way......but good money though, so I should not complain. I'm working shift, feels great not to have to start working 6 am every week! (I get out of bed around four=(). but it's ok, it's not that hard unless you are dreaming that you are turning your phone off, mobile alarm calls, you wake up and-guess what? - you turn it off and go back too sleep, wakes up 15 min. before you are supposed to be picked up by your commute-friend! thats not funny! especially when you have to move you car unless you would like to have a lot a tickets during the day! (only free parking for two houers on my street!) I'll just be gone for like 12! thats six tickets! so not worth it!
last thursday, we had a snowstorm breaking out over us! imagine the highway 4 inches of snow and alsmost no sight! I was rolling forward carefully and slowly around 50 km/ hour when I normally should have been driving more than twice as fast! I was home half past 12 am! long days.....
next morning, warning from the local radiostation saying "Stay home", dangerous roads and cancelled trains and busses. I called in "off duty without pay" because I wasn't to go through the same procedure again!
anyway for standing out this far with-not-so-much-my-dream-job! I shall buy this with my first pay! as a little reward. I soooo want it!=)
