Sailing...

A poem tributed to my mother, who has all my life been of great support to me and my problems. And even though I know that she has had her and still has Problems and obstacles in her life, she has always helped me when I have my silly exaggerated problems. And this is the way I see her knowing she might not se herself this way, but I do!

Sailing
~~~~>*<~~~~
My mother she knew how to sail
through wind and storms she would always prevail
she conquered the seas she desired so
where ever she wanted she managed to go
~~~~>*<~~~~
My mother she knew how to fight
she knew where to go in the darkest night
she could safely maneuver night and day
as dawnings and dusks swept her away
~~~~>*<~~~~My mother she knew how to be
she knew how to make others see
as she drank from belief one great zip
it had made her raft as strong as a ship
~~~~>*<~~~~
My mother she knew how to be brave
knew to take what her heart would crave
it made her travel the world for things to do
it made her open her heart and be true
~~~~>*<~~~~
My mother she new how to sail
through wind and storms she would always prevail
she conquered the seas she desired so
where ever she wanted she managed to go
~~~~>*<~~~~
My mother she knew how to be strong
she knew where to go and how to belong
and then she tried to pass this on to me
but I wasn't strong enough to break free
~~~~>*<~~~~
Yes! She tried to pass this on to me
but I was not strong enough to..... be free
It's not that I think she has failed me somehow, I feel more that she done a great job considering what she had to work with. We're too different and I'm sorry I'm not storng the way my mother is! But it's not your fault mom! I love you, and to be honest, without you I have no idea where I had been today. </p>
